Modern design buffs will love the über-cool Opus Hotel in Yaletown, while those looking for a more classic, European experience will appreciate the Wedgewood Hotel, Vancouver's only luxurious Relais & Chateaux property. The Listel Hotel is a culture-lover's dream, and the Moda Hotel offers modern style and terrific value. Down in Coal Harbour, the Loden Hotel gives guests a contemporary luxurious West Coast experience in a downtown neighbourhood. FAMILY-FRIENDLY ACCOMMODATION Clients travelling with kids will have no problem finding a family-friendly hotel in Vancouver. They'll appreciate the Westin Bayshore's outdoor pool and location right by Stanley Park. The Coast Plaza Hotel & Suites and the Sandman Suites Vancouver are similarly popular for their location as well as their in-room kitchenettes. Your clients will find programs for children at upscale brands like Fairmont (which offers child-sized robes) and Four Seasons (which discounts rooms for children) as well as value-oriented chains such as Best Western (where kids stay free) and Holiday Inn (where kids stay and eat free). The Rosewood Hotel Georgia's Rose Buds program even offers kid-centric activities and room amenities. And let's not forget those other "members of the family" – many Vancouver hotels are pet-friendly too! BED-AND- BREAKFASTS Romantic settings, cosy furnishings and home-style charm are all part of the magic of staying at a local bed- and-breakfast like The Manor Guest House or Mickey's Kits Beach Chalet. Many B&Bs are owned and operated by families, so a visit feels as close to home as you can get without sleeping in your own bed. And your clients need not abandon the downtown core to stay at a B&B: Vancouver has options both right in the city as well as surrounding neighbourhoods close to beaches, shopping and dining.
