They can either stay on for a full overview of the city (about a two-hour loop), or get on and off as they choose at any of the 20 to 30 stops. Big Bus offers recorded narration on some of their tours (and some buses offer a number of languages), while Vancouver Trolley Company and Big Pink Sightseeing offer live commentary from the driver. Even if your clients aren't looking for a city tour, a hop-on, hop-off tour can present a no-hassle transportation option to get from one attraction to another. Clients looking for a more full-service experience – whether they're keen for a city overview, a tour of specific attractions or a group adventure – scheduled sightseeing tours are just the ticket. Both Landsea Tours & Adventures and West Coast Sightseeing offer city highlights tours with local guides, as well as other options that combine a tour of the city with a visit to some of Vancouver's most popular attractions. AERIAL ADVENTURE Vancouver's newest attraction, FlyOver Canada, is located at the tip of Canada Place. Visitors can strap in and be lifted in front of a large, custom, spherical screen and soar from coast to coast on a breathtaking aerial journey. They'll take in the excitement and grandeur of Canada through the latest in virtual flight ride technology (complete with the addition of wind, scents, mist and sound). A VIEW FROM THE TOP Everyone will be awestruck by The Vancouver Lookout's 360-degree views, and its vantage point of 130 metres (430 feet) up makes for the perfect place to get oriented to the city. Visitors ages three to 15 will particularly enjoy the attraction's Junior Pilot Program, where they'll navigate a compass to find Vancouver's most recognized landmarks, play a sleuthing game to uncover clues in the Lookout's many information plaques and take home a well-earned certificate and Golden Wing Badge. DOWN THE GARDEN PATH A sanctuary in the heart of the city, the Dr. Sun Yat-Sen Classical Chinese Garden was the first authentic classical Chinese garden ever built outside of China. Visitors can walk along the peaceful paths to admire the harmony of water, plants and architecture and see why this was named the world's top city garden by National Geographic. A SUSPENSEFUL AFTERNOON Dare your clients to look down as they cross the river at Capilano Suspension Bridge Park, complete with rainforest nature trails, a totem pole collection, Treetops Adventure and Cliffwalk, a heart-stopping cliff-side journey across a series of cantilevered and suspended walkways jutting out far above the river. Children will enjoy the Rainforest Explorer program and the Raptor's Ridge live birds of prey demonstration. CULTURAL INSIGHTS It's easy to lose track of time in the Museum of Anthropology at the University of British Columbia. The striking modern building overlooking the ocean on the University of British Columbia campus houses the world's best collection of Northwest Coastal art, and an astounding 535,000 archeological objects from cultures around the world. About 6,000 First Nations artifacts are on display, plus soaring outdoor totem poles, making it one of the best places to see the artwork of B.C.'s native residents.
