With money in their pockets, plane tickets to travel anywhere in the world and an adrenalin high from their exhilarating win, what did they do? Went back to work! "I had no vacation time at work," explains Tim Sr. " e race used it all up and I had to wait for the new year!" In April 2014, Tim Sr. nally travelled to France with his wife Sheryl, their three younger kids and niece, and spent three weeks touring Paris and the French Riviera. "It's everything you dream of when they sing 'Paris in the Spring,' " recalls Tim Sr., a nurse and professional speaker. From spending Easter at Notre-Dame Cathedral and seeing reworks over the Mediterranean to visiting wealth-saturated Monaco and witnessing the opulence of Versailles, the Hague family enjoyed a once-in-a-lifetime vacation that may never have happened without the men's victory. Next up for the father of four is a trip to Croatia with Sheryl. Meanwhile, Tim Jr. and his wife will be ying to Chile and Australia in the coming year.
