We're always profiling and featuring CEOs and entrepreneurs who have made it big. But seldom do we—both at this magazine and generally in the media—feature people who are making a large impact in those companies without being at the very top of them. We had some ideas of who those people might be, and we asked a number of companies and organiza- tions for their input. In the end, we chose six people to feature. In the coming pages, you'll hear from a political star-maker, two product managers who have a couple of B.C.'s most promising tech companies in the palm of their hands, a supply chain wiz, a sales vir- tuoso and a social worker who has the hefty responsi- bility of dealing with one of our biggest organization's hardest jobs. Some of them have been briefly featured before in the media, but we wanted to dig in and figure out what makes these people tick, and why they do what they do.
