MARCH/APRIL 2022 BCBUSINESS 29 ISTOCK
J
ust like anywhere else, B.C. faces its share of chal-
lenges, but this province is also in a good place. We
know you'll agree when you meet the contenders
for our third annual Business of Good Awards, which cele-
brate local organizations that turn the principles of social
responsibility into action. Whether they're advancing rec-
onciliation with Indigenous people, feeding the hungry,
making a real difference for the environment or promoting
employees' mental and physical wellness, these compa-
nies know how to do the right thing. In fact, it's built into
their business. Our panel of judges (p.41) may have chosen
some favourites in six categories, but to us, all of the final-
ists are winners. Congratulations to everyone!
