The addition bumps RED's total area to almost 14 W e s t w o r l d p14-18_Fresh_Tracks.indd 14 >> winter 2013 3,000 acres pushing it to eighth-largest ski area in Canada and 18th-largest in North America. redresort.com Whistler-Blackcomb This year, the world-class facility invested $18 million on revitalizing chair lifts. Whistler's Harmony chair has been upgraded with a six-person express to ease long lift lines, while Blackcomb's Crystal Ridge lift has a realigned and longer high-speed quad.
