34 | OCTOBER 2016 Faucets that these features are critical in the kitchen, where usability and functionality are important long-term benefits for homeowners," says Garry Scott, VP, whole- sale marketing and brand development, Moen Canada. "It's important that we don't just deliver on the style, offering a modern spring spout, but enhance the inter- action with the product, as well." The Align spring faucet features a variety of Moen innovations including Power Clean technology, that provides 50 percent more spray, and the Spot Resist finish to reduce fingerprints and water spots. Among the many faucets offered by Andrew Sheret Limited, the Delta Essa single handle pull-down kitchen faucet with Touch 2 O technology hits the mark for many designers and users of this ultra-modern technology. "The Delta Essa faucet is designed not only for ease of use but also for water efficiency," says Michelle Braden, marketing and communications co-ordinator, Andrew Sheret Limited. "The Touch 2 O Technology features automatic shut-off if the water is left running for more than four minutes, the TempSense LED light indicates the water temperature and the faucet turns on and off with a touch anywhere on the spout or the handle. The high-arc pull-down swivels 360 degrees, and a sys- tem called MagnaTite Docking keeps the pull-down spray wand in place with a powerful magnet. It also meets standards set by the ADA [The Americans with Disabilities Act]." With four colour choices, including Chrome, Arctic Stainless, Matte Black and Venetian Bronze, the Essa faucet could fit into most upscale designs for 2016. In addition to carrying the latest in fashionable faucet styles, for Rubinet Faucet Company, 2016 is about finishes, specifically Matt Black and Satin Brass. "Designers have been coming to us with specs for these finishes in both kitchen and bath designs. However, Matt Black seems to be the stronger option," says Domenic Luisi, president. "The Satin Brass is a muted tone of the polished brass that was popular throughout the 1990s. Of course the Matt Black goes well in kitchens with stainless steel appliances. We are supplying matt doing installations for the black in a lot of boutique hotels such as the Drake Devonshire Inn in Wellington, Ontario, in Belleville and other locations in Toronto. We are also specified on upcoming projects in Canada and the U.S." Luisi says his company is launching two new fau- cet series in the fall of 2016, the R-7, a contemporary, squared design finish, and Genesis, a unit that features a more tubular design. In the late fall of 2016, Delta Faucet will be intro- ducing the Zura bath collection, answering consumer requests for modern, urban design. The line blends rounded, rectangular and triangular elements to cre- ate a contemporary, sophisticated look within the innovation. "The Delta Zura bath collection features deck mount lavatory faucets in a split Matte Black and Chrome finish, adding to an extensive line of finish options offered by Delta Faucet," says Luciano Marone, The Delta Essa Touch available through Andrew Sheret Ltd.
