They established the Liber Ero Chair in Coastal Studies and have contributed to the Patricia Gallaugher Award in Coastal Science and Management, the Tom Buell Post-Doctoral Fellowship in Salmon Conservation Endowment and various other salmon- related research initiatives. frAnceS AnD SAmuel BelzBerg E Samuel Belzberg helped raise more than $60 million to launch SFU's downtown campus. The Belzbergs have donated consistently and generously to the ongoing development of the campus and renovation of three heritage buildings supporting business students, dialogue, and con- temporary arts. golDcorp inc. W Goldcorp supported SFU with an exceptional donation to the School for the Contemporary Arts campaign. The Goldcorp Centre for the Arts has trans- formed the Downtown Eastside by creating a space that hosts dynamic community and cultural programs. Q woSk fAmily The Wosk family has donated to SFU's Harbour Centre campaign, the Centre for Dialogue campaign, the Morris J. and Dena Wosk Endowment and the Interdisciplinary Studies Program. The prestigious Wosk Centre for Dialogue is named in their honour. Yosef Wosk was the founder of SFU's Philosopher's Café program. Q trottier fAmily Lorne Trottier and his wife, Louise, funded the out-of-this- world Trottier Observatory and Courtyard as well as the Trottier Studio for Innovative Science Education at SFU. Lorne's brother, Howard (a physics professor at SFU), and the family hopes to grow science outreach to encourage others to develop and pursue a passion for the field. As early supporters of SFU's efforts to create a downtown campus at Harbour Centre, Chancellor Emeritus Joseph Segal and Rosalie Segal have generously donated the Bank of Montreal build- ing that is now known as the Segal Graduate School of Business. The Segals have also provided exceptional support to more than 20 other initiatives, including an annual grant to students in financial need and the Rosalie Segal Endow- ment for students with special needs. A strong advocate for children's health, Djavad Mowafaghian has established two endowments in the Faculty of Health Sciences —one with a specific focus on children's health policy research and the Containment Lab for Infectious Disease Research. He has also provided incredible support for SFU's School for the Contem- porary Arts. campaign, the Morris J. and Dena Wosk Endowment and the Interdisciplinary Studies Program. The prestigious Wosk Centre for Dialogue is named in their honour. Yosef Wosk E BrAnDt louie Chancellor Emeritus Brandt Louie is passionate about helping students reach their full potential. He has consistently supported students and a diverse number of faculties, as well as the SFU Pipe Band.
