Miller suggests changing brake fluid every three years because one of the chemical ingredients draws in moisture that can degrade braking performance. "Normally, a technician can determine if you need a change by doing a simple moisture test," says Miller. 2 Tire care If factory-recommended tire pressures aren't maintained, for instance if a tire is too low on air or overinflated, premature wear will occur. The same thing can happen if tires aren't regularly rotated. Miller recommends getting a rotation every 12,000 km to maximize longevity.
