6 bca a .com winter 2014 what is your vision for BCAA? top priority? Our vision is to serve every household in British Columbia with amazing service and Member benefits. By choosing our world-class roadside assistance, award-winning home insurance and market-leading travel insurance, BCAA Members receive discounts that can add up to hundreds of dollars each year. We also have thousands of partners where Members can save up to 30 per cent – hotels like Best Western and Hyatt, car rentals from Hertz and Enterprise, retailers including Roots and Payless Shoe Source, and gas at Petro-Canada or Husky – offering everyday discounts that can help Members save money. One priority is to add even more value for our Members by launching new services – for example, our first new Auto Service Centre in Kelowna is now open and provides complete, full car service on all manufacturer makes and models. Members save 10 per cent on all services – tires, brakes, oil changes, etc. – which can add up to significant savings on annual maintenance. what have you learned since you've joined? I have learned that: • BCAA is full of employees with a consistent passion to serve our Members and give them even more value. • BCAA is an innovative company using technology – like iPads at our service centres and with our Road Assist drivers – to give our Members a consistently better, more efficient experience. • BCAA has some of the most loyal customers (we're proud of our industry-leading loyalty score). • BCAA is rated by consumers as one of the top 10 most loved brands in British Columbia. what can Members expect from BCAA in the future? They can expect us to be even more relevant – to bring them products and services that will work throughout their lives. For example, through the next decade, BCAA will open dozens of new Auto Service Centres across the province. And we will use technology to make things easier for our Members and to serve them faster whether at home or on the go. Describe your perfect day? There's no one day in particular, but I love getting out in nature with my family – whether it's on the slopes, in the water or on my bike. Gotta love B.C.! n Your BCAA BCAA recently welcomed a new President & CEO, Paul Healey. He has a proven track record of success in wireless, automotive, technology, telecommunications, franchising and retail industries, and brings a passion for delivering the best service for our Members. We sat down with Paul to get his views on a few things business and otherwise. why BCAA and why now? Today, BCAA serves one in four British Columbian households with a wide breadth of services. In fact, we interact with our Members over five million times a year. BCAA is also the number one most trusted company in British Columbia according to its Members. I joined to have the opportunity to work with an organization that has significant impact in our province and is poised to grow further.
