"East Vancouver is a popular place to live because it is full of interesting, vibrant people that are new to the neighbourhood. We have a really cool community developing here that wants to expose our children to the kind of fun, nostalgic experiences that we had while growing up." what's your favourite room? "Jane has done an amazing job of decorating our home to make it feel like a restful sanctuary — but I love the garage. There Will and I work on, or just sit in, my Collector 1976 Ford Bronco. I love its utilitarian simplic- ity from a design perspective. The roof of the Bronco comes off, which is great in summer. My neighbour and I lifted the roof of the garage and then devised a hydraulic system that hoists the car roof up and down to be able to take it off easily." where do you like to go when not at home? "We love driving throughout B.C. and Washington. My favourite drive is through Leavenworth, Waterville and Spokane in Washington State to Coeur d'Alene, Idaho, and ending in Missoula, Montana, to visit my brother. We return by travelling north through Osoyoos and back to Vancouver in a loop. There are many changes in geography, and wide open roads — where you don't see a cop for 800 kilometres."
