Caa saskatchewan members Jack and elaine Wilson from Moose Jaw have been on 15 Caa WestWorld tours trips. Jack's favourites are the cruises and elaine prefers the land excursions. having loved Victoria, B.C., when they visited in 2005, they both agreed that a return trip to that city was how they wanted to celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary this year. so when fam- ily members gave them a trip as an anniver- sary gift, they jumped at the opportunity. the Wilsons departed on april 28, 2014, for the 10-day motorcoach journey. "West- World tours treated us like royalty," says elaine. When they arrived at the royal scot hotel & suites in Victoria, they were wel- comed by a traditional bagpiper. the couple received a bottle of champagne from West- World tours and chocolates from the hotel. their daughter and two of their grandchildren joined them for a winery and cidery visit. City highlights included visits to the Butterfly gardens and Butchart gardens. they explored Cathedral grove, home of the majestic ancient red cedars, and the murals of Chemainus. they also enjoyed a short ferry ride to salt spring island. the Wilsons' anniversary date was May 4, but elaine says they celebrated every day of the tour – capped off with their tour group's farewell dinner at Vernon's historic O'Keefe ranch. elaine and Jack say WestWorld tours has always gone out of its way, offering the best customer service and experiences throughout their many jaunts.
