As the children listened intently, the team of horses pulled our wagon through the rolling hills and pastures of Historic Reesor Ranch, alive with wildflowers at the time of our visit in June. Our private cedar cabin was the perfect place to relax when we weren't out enjoying the horse rides and evening campfires and chatting with the working cowboys and cowgirls. Our children could not get enough of this ranch, nestled high in the hills between the SaskatchewanAlberta border within Cypress Hills Provincial Park. It's a short drive to the T. rex Discovery Centre in Eastend. Chisels in hand, the children revelled in the opportunity to dig up fossils and take home their own small piece of Saskatchewan's famous Dino Country. Boasting Canada's most complete Tyrannosaurus rex among its exhibits, the T. rex Centre also offers programs for all ages along with visits to its fossil research station.
