1 2 The Details How they did it 6 1 Kim chose an ivory satin, ruched, strapless sweetheart bubble dress: "I thought I wanted something completely different, but the silhouette was just so impactful. It was fitted to just below the hips then dropped into two layered bubble hems. Since it was so simple, no bling or beading, it allowed me to pick some statement accessories, so I added beautiful blush and smoky quartz-coloured hanging earrings, a matching bracelet and a clear crystal beaded belt." 2 "My bridesmaids wore flowy, blush-coloured knee-length strapless dresses with a ruched top accented with three rosettes. Since my dress was quite structured, we opted for something with a little more movement for them. They all wore nude shoes and pearl Pandora earrings." 3 "Considering the glam style of the wedding but the beautiful natural setting," says Kim, "I wanted the flowers to be elegant but also a bit wild. Edgy Petals put together gorgeous wild roses in soft pinks, whites and yellows, accented with crystals. They put together a similar bouquet for the table centrepieces." 4 5 6 5 The crystal-adorned ballroom was dressed in shades of blush and white, with personal touches at each table. "We did a fill-in-the-blanks story at each place setting," explains Kim, "so guests could fill in the noun or verb of their choice and create a special story for us. It gave both us and them a keepsake, and our stationery designer did an amazing job." Guests were served a green salad, then a choice or salmon or beef striploin, followed by lemon cheesecake. "As per usual for the bride and groom," says Kim, "we didn't manage to actually sit and enjoy the food the way we wanted to, but it was delicious." Vic was fitted for his tux at Harry Rosen, which he paired with a crisp white shirt and a white bow tie.
