The wedding we wanted: "We wanted an elegant, intimate, comfortable atmosphere wherein we could incorporate Bee Hong's Chinese background and my Western background," says Evan. "We were looking for a brand new hotel with some beautiful spaces we could use, a top-notch restaurant with a wellrecognized chef and a high level of service." Why the Shangri-La? "The décor at Shangri La represented a great blending of East and West style touches," says Bee Hong. "Plus, we had the use of the entire sixth floor, so there were rooms we could use for our cocktail reception and even a movie theatre where we could play our wedding slide show." "Shangri-La represented a total package and the director of events management was incredibly accommodating, a true professional," Evan adds.
