Beach Beauties
Burnaby-based cake designer Dalana Fleming of The Cake & the Giraffe
created this lighthearted seaside-inspired cake, which is made with
half 'Mojito' (vanilla cake, fresh mint buttercream and lime curd) and half
'Garden Dream' (vanilla cake, rosemary buttercream and lavender custard).
Covered in rolled fondant, this whimsical confection is decorated with

Fiorire Custom Florals designer Rosalba Fasan-Buffat crafted a playful
bouquet to fit the beach theme, using garden and spray roses, eryngium,
tillandsia, muscari, rice flower, brunia and pearl-centred hyacinth. A collar
of shells and a handle wrapped in a blush shade of satin ribbon add the
