On november 4, B.C. residents
can enjoy an extra hour of sleep as
daylight time ends. some would
like to see the twice-yearly time
change abolished, though. in
september, 52.3 percent of union
of BC Municipalities delegates
passed a resolution to kill daylight
time. the next step is to petition
the provincial government to wind
down the practice. Elsewhere, the
european Commission, execu-
tive of the EU, received 4.6 million
responses to an online survey from
July 4 to august 16. almost 85
percent favoured keeping the same
time year-round.

a new two-night sleep therapy
package. after a 75-minute
kundalini massage, guests can
sip chamomile tea or unwind in a
rooftop hot tub. Back in the suite,
there's a cosy fireplace, deep-
soaker tub and organic lavender
bubble bath, and a comfy king-size

which can be taken home.
