Canada is strong not in spite of our diversity, but because of it. No matter the faith we profess, where we were born, what colour our skin, what language we speak, or whom we love – we are all equal members of this country. is is the Canada that I love, and this is the Canada I hope you will join me in exploring. Over the next year, Canadians will host celebrations of our shared identity and pride in what we have achieved together in our 150 years of history. I encourage you to seek out the unique events and offerings of Canada 150 – from our vibrant celebrations of Canada Day to a hike in one of our pristine national parks, I know that you will enjoy everything we have to offer. Whether you are just starting to explore our country or a seasoned traveller who has seen our three coasts, I am confident that this year will be a year of endless discovery for you and your family. If you are a visitor to Canada for the first time: Welcome. I hope you enjoy your time here. Ottawa 2017 Welcome to Vancouver! PRIME MINISTER· PREMIER MINISTRE Justin Trudeau, P.C., M.P.
