Kevin Kozlowski, vice-president, indus-
trial distribution Americas, for Schaeffler,
told Communicator, "We are proud of our
decades-long membership in the BSA, whose
innovative spirit aligns well with Schaeffler's
long history of technological innovation.
This award is a testament to that tradition,
and we are grateful for the honour."
He added that the award recognition was
important because SmartCheck "enables our
distribution partners to bring additional
value to our customers by allowing them to
cost-effectively monitor critical applications
within their manufacturing facilities, quickly
address and solve problems, and increase
their overall productivity."
Ruth says that, based on attendee feed-
back, "We will most definitely make these
awards an annual event. After the first
awards were handed out I mingled with the
recipients, and they were already talking
about how they could leverage their wins
both within their companies and in our
industry in general.
"That's exactly the response we wanted to
hear. Our aim is to encourage innovation, and
it seems the awards are a perfect venue."
