BC mountains have been seeing snow since August, and it's likely to continue. According to the World Meteorological Organization, we've said sayonara to El Niño, the weather phenomenon that caused warmer-than-average temperatures last year. It also appears we're in the midst of a mild La Niña – bringing cooler ocean temperatures and even colder weather. So prepare for more of the white stuff.
