SNOW DAYS AHOY
If you need a reason to head for high
elevations this winter, you'll have it:
powder and more powder! BC mountains
have been seeing snow since August,
and it's likely to continue. According to
the World Meteorological Organization,
we've said sayonara to El Niño, the
weather phenomenon that caused
warmer-than-average temperatures last
year. It also appears we're in the midst
of a mild La Niña – bringing cooler ocean
temperatures and even colder weather.
So prepare for more of the white stuff.
