Well-informed and
Well-fed at IMBA's Gala
and Conference
IMBA's 2016 Gala Evening, Annual Conference & Trade Show was held
April 13 and 14 at the Universal EventSpace in Vaughan, Ontario – the newest
venue from hospitality and entertainment group PeterandPauls.com, which
knows how to feed a crowd! No one went home empty-handed or hungry.
Highlights of the Gala evening were the awards ceremony and cocktail
reception, which featured fun group photos. We also had guests jumping to
their feet during dinner to play musical games.
Marc Saltzman, Canada's tech expert, was the featured speaker at our
conference on the following day, with great business ideas for attendees.
Other morning sessions included CMHC economist, corporation tax
savings, an Equifax Beacon 9 update and social media tips. IMBA also
hosted its AGM aer lunch, and when the trade-show floor opened, there
were more than 80 exhibitors to visit. Attendees and exhibitors finished
off the day with prize draws and a great cocktail hour.
