• Shearwater Resort & Marina
has been a generous supporter
through the aforementioned
conservation contribution
program. In 2015, the company
donated $7,500. To date, total
donations amount to almost
$70,000, including trips donated
to dinners.
• For many years, langara
island lodge has hosted the "Red Boat Challenge", bringing
together leaders from the mining sector for a fishing trip that
raises significant funds for salmon projects. In 2015 alone,
the derby raised $43,000 for the Pacific Salmon Foundation,
including a match of more than
$21,000 from Langara Island Lodge.
• Duncanby Lodge donated $20,000
to the Foundation in 2015 through
proceeds from the conservation
contribution program in addition
to trips donated to dinners.
• Sonora Resort donates $10,000
each year to the Foundation's
Annual Appeal through the London
Drugs Foundation.
