e 2016 MBABC Mortgage and Real Estate Finance
Conference, held February 23-24 at the River Rock Hotel and
Casino, was an overwhelming success. Dubbed the "All-Star
Classic", the sports-themed event was attended by 654 dele-
gates, 13 sponsors and 66 exhibitors, and brought in speakers
and panelists from a broad range of backgrounds to address
the issues currently facing our industry – as well as provide
insights and strategies for continuing to grow as a sustainable
industry. e MBABC Organizing Committee amended the
two-day format to include a tailgate party at the end of day
one, and six concurrent educational sessions for day two.
