Bryan Gallagher and Matias Marquez – and all winners of the 2016 BCBusiness 30 Under 30 award – will do things for an unknowable future: for business, for technology and innovation, for society. Bryan Gallagher is a successful manager, consultant, and educator focusing on Indigenous entrepreneurship and economic development who recently completed a PhD in Philosophy of Management at the Beedie School of Business. His award-winning research focused on how entrepreneurship can strengthen Indigenous identity and culture, and how Indigenous entrepreneurs integrate their identity and culture into their businesses. Matias Marquez is the Founder and COO of Buyatab, a leading international supplier of digital gift cards. While studying for his BBA degree at SFU's Beedie School of Business, Matias launched Buyatab, a now globally recognized brand with top clients which include: Whole Foods Market, Cineplex and Tim Hortons. Bryan and Matias join a prestigious group – past Beedie alumni who have been BCBusiness 30 Under 30 winners.
