Next to your home, your car may be the
second-largest asset you own and it's
important to pay regular visits to your
favourite mechanic or auto service centre
to keep your vehicle well maintained. In
between service visits, there are a few
things you can do yourself to keep your
car in good working order. This is one
subject that automotive industry veteran
Stu Miller, General Manager of the BCAA
Auto Service Centres in Kelowna and
Penticton, knows well.
When it comes to what kind of jobs people
can tackle, Miller says, "It all depends on
what experience you have and your level
of confidence."
We asked Miller for some
recommendations on basic auto repairs
that can be performed from the comfort
of your own driveway.
