takefive Member Services & Benefits – caask.ca LAST WINTER, we shared the story of Norm Latham, a regular traveller with WestWorld Tours, who wanted to honour the memory of his late wife, Marie, by helping those who require cardiac care. Norm and Marie always felt safer knowing that the WestWorld Tours tour direc- tors are St. John Ambulance-trained in first aid, auto- mated external defibrillators (AEDs) and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR). e result was the Marie Latham Memorial Fund, which, through raffle ticket sales, raised $6,000 for the purchase and distribution of AEDs in Sas- katchewan by St. John Ambulance. Congratulations to Karen Shaw of Saskatoon, grand prize raffle winner of the $1,000 WestWorld Tours travel voucher. And a heartfelt thank you to everyone who purchased tickets. anks to this fundraising initiative, the Moose Jaw Cosmo Senior Citizens Centre and the Prince Albert Heritage Centre each received an AED. Norm Latham was very pleased with the results and remarked, "I appreciate everyone's support for this worthwhile cause, knowing that those who need an AED now have increased access."
