"Please continue to produce more customer-experience- management-related content—the province needs it!" Falcon sees cus- tomer service improving locally but says more needs to be done by way of better training, smarter hiring and rewarding those who provide good service. Kelly Grant (@The__ Real__kg) chimed in on Twitter that she particularly liked the accompa- nying story on competition in the high-end retail market ("Retail Show- down," September 2015): "Thanks @bcbusiness for a great read on the luxury shopping market in # YVR." S peak ing o f S er vice . . . Steve Burgess's story about Vancouverite Paul Davidescu and his restau- rant search app Tangoo ("After the Dragon," September 2015)–an app Davidescu calls "a pocket concierge"–elicited kudos from several followers, including The Network Hub (@thenetworkhub): "Reading about our good friends @TangooNights in @bcbusiness–congrats guys! We know how hard you've hustled"; and FrontFundr (@ FrontFundr): "Great read from @bcbusiness on how @TangooNights is enhancing your dining experience." Knowing When to Hold 'em–and When to Fold 'em Twitter also lit up for Jim Lightbody, new boss of the B.C. Lottery Corporation ("The Conversation," September 2015). But Penultimate Squire (@penultsquire) took issue with our question to Lightbody about similarities between the gaming business and packaged goods (he formerly worked in marketing with Procter & Gamble): "Wow. Optically probably not a great time to make a laundry analo˜y to casinos." Culture Vulture Spending on the arts—particularly in light of a controversial and •nancing-plagued attempt to build a new Vancouver Art Gallery—is always a hot topic with readers. Many responded favourably to Trevor Melanson's graphic look at some of the B.C. arts institutions with new spaces on the drawing board ("A Wing, a Prayer—and a Building," September 2015). Wrote Cindy Ferrie (@cindyferrie): "Hoping we get some new arts and culture venues in BC!"
