Jesse enlisted the
help of Petite Pearl

vision of a Harry
Potter-themed
wedding elegantly
to life. But even they
were surprised (and
touched) when their
guests turned up at
Brock House in their
finest Hogwarts-
inspired outfits.
Wedding planner Jessica Minnie, meanwhile,
gathered many of the "props" that would
transform Vancouver's Brock House Restaurant
into a movie-set-worthy scene, including hand-
hewn brooms, vintage luggage and a slew of
mismatched chairs – she even set up a replica
Quidditch pitch by the beach.
"One of the tricks of having a theme wedding
is holding true to your vision while maintaining a
level of class," says Jesse. "Neither of us wanted a
childish event, but rather an elegant day inspired
