While the rumours aren't entirely false, there's a lot more to this gem on Mexico's Baja Peninsula than tequila shots and lively nightlife. After last fall's Hurricane Odile, the region's luxurious resorts, innovative restaurants and all of its major tourism infrastructure are back up and running (and quite possibly better than ever). A year later, Los Cabos is not only welcoming visitors again, but also revealing a wealth of off-the-beaten-track experiences if you're looking to see more on your trip than the inside of nightspots like Cabo Wabo. If you venture off the typical tourist trail, however, it will come in the form of a life-altering cocktail paired with a farm-to-table feast – not in a shot glass. ⊲
