"We have one of the largest Andy Warhol screen print collections in Canada, and we also have several pieces by Warhol's prodigy, American artist Jean-Michel Basquiat." And Cactus' eye for art and the passion it puts into the design of each location has not gone unnoticed. "Each of our restaurants has its own unique original art collection. In 2012, English Bay Cactus received The Real Estate Board of Vancouver Commercial Building award and was featured in Canadian Architect magazine for its unique concept and design," recalls Murphy. "In 2014 it was recognized by the City of Vancouver Urban Design Awards as the top commercial building. Our design team carefully selects all decor to complement the location and design features of our rooms, which includes lighting by everyone from Omer Arbel to Ingo Maurer."
