I took this photo while on safari in the Savute
region of Chobe National Park in Botswana in March 2015.
A lion pride was resting near a water hole in the early
morning. A lone elephant approached the water hole but
decided he didn't like the crowd. The pride lingered at
the water hole for another 20 to 30 minutes then walked
within three feet of our vehicle on their way to find shade
to escape the steadily increasing temperature."
