Hell of a ride
Back in 1808, explorer Simon Fraser wrote,
"Surely we have encountered the gates of
hell." Fraser was recalling his journey through
the dangerously narrow gorge in the Fraser
Canyon where 200 million gallons of water
thunder through per minute. This summer,
enjoy a bird's eye view of this historic landmark
on the Hell's Gate airtram. There's plenty
to do off the tram too, like panning for gold,
exploring the fisheries exhibit and treating
yourself at the Fudge Factory or Simon's Café.
