On behalf of my colleagues on City Council,
and the citizens of Vancouver, I want to
extend my warmest welcome as you visit the
city we love.
Vancouver is one of the most beautiful
and popular tourist destinations in the world,
and our city offers a stunning variety of
experiences and adventures for all tastes
and backgrounds.
Whether it's our dramatic scenery and
natural environment, our internationally
renowned multicultural festivals, our
world-class arts and culture community, or
our exceptional culinary talent and diverse
cuisine, Vancouver offers visitors no shortage
of reasons to return here year after year.
Our residents are known for their
hospitality, and we were proud to welcome
the world for the successful 2010 Winter
Olympic and Paralympic Games. The whole
world is reflected in Vancouver's uniquely
diverse and vibrant character, and you
will find excellent restaurants, hotels and
shops, and exciting family-friendly activities
throughout our city and our region.
I hope all visitors to Vancouver will have
