Kate Wiles and Mark McKitrick's love story began in a canoe. The pair's very first adventure together was
canoeing the world-renowned Bowron Lake Canoe Circuit – a 116-kilometre trip through the lakes and waterways
of this picturesque wilderness region in central B.C. So, when the outdoorsy couple decided to tie the knot, it
seemed only fitting to return to this special place in their hearts for their big day. For Kate and Mike, who wed on
September 13, 2014 at Bowron Lake Lodge, the occasion wouldn't have been complete without a portrait session in
a canoe, in all their wedding-day finery. And their photographer, Emily Parsons of Emily Jane Photography
