innipeg's Investors Group Field is an impressive sight – even from a distance. In 2015, the two-
year-old stadium, on the University of Manitoba campus, will be seen across Canada and around
the world when it becomes home to two major sporting events.
Should they make it far enough this season, the Winnipeg Blue Bombers will have home field advantage
at the 103rd Grey Cup. Regardless of the outcome on the field, Manitobans won't have to sit on the sidelines
as they revel in the entertainment surrounding the CFL's crowning event. From a street festival and parade
to a gala dinner, the Grey Cup Festival (November 25-29) will keep the city buzzing well after the players
have left the field.
For fans of European football, Winnipeg is one of the host cities for the FIFA Women's World Cup Canada
2015 (June 6-July 5). In the Winnipeg games (June 8 to 16), soccer teams and fans, including those from the
U.S. (top-ranked in the world), Australia, Sweden, Nigeria and Germany, will flock to the stadium for its first
international event. Join the beautiful melting pot of spectators in the stands for a taste of world-class soccer.
