How did you choose
your house?
W
e bought this older house
21 years ago because it
was very close to my first
restaurant; Meeru would walk to it
with our daughter in the stroller to
work there. She has always been
the restaurants' main chef and
kitchen director. We completed five
renovations, with different areas
done in stages as we could afford
them. Renos were designed by
Marc Bricault, who designed the
restaurants. It is modern in that it has
simple lines, but it has a lived-in look
with our individual pieces scattered
everywhere."
