8 G O I N G P L A C E S | S P R I N G 2 0 1 5 SPEAKER'S CORNER In With the New e change I'm most excited about, though, is expanding Your Guide (page 58) by one page. Here, you'll discover mem- ber-contests, new CAA Rewards partners, membership perks and more, all to help you make the most of your membership. It's interesting to note how each of our members sees us a little differently. Some know us s o l e l y fo r o u r a u t o m o t i v e ser vices, such as boosts and tows. Others may only deal with CAA when booking travel or insuring their home. No matter which way you see us as an expert, these changes, along with a reduction in the number of ads, ensures that Going Places reflects the wide array of services and the many benefits of being a member that CAA Manitoba offers today. If you have any feedback on these new features, let us know by emailing goingplaces@caamanitoba.com. You can also reach out to us on Twitter or Facebook to tell us what you think of the magazine changes. GP –Mike Mager President and CEO, CAA Manitoba I n the last issue of Going Places, I w r o t e a b o u t t h e m a n y changes we've made at CAA Manitoba to help us better serve our memb ers . T hes e include advancements in technology, as well as new products and services we've introduced in the past year. In keeping pace with these inno- vations, Going Places itself has also evolved to reflect the many facets of our organization, including insurance, rewards, travel and automotive. Rest assured we aren't straying too far from our roots. Each issue will still include at least two travel features, as well as a new local column called Top 5 (page 20). Nicely complementing the popular Home Base (page 16) column, this piece offers more ideas on how members can enjoy our beautiful province. In future issues, watch for the new Weekender column, highlighting travel destinations within Manitoba or just a stone's throw away from our province. To ref lect our property and casualty insurance business, as well as some of our CAA Rewards partners, we've added Home Sweet Home (page 55). Just as the name sounds, this column provides helpful tips on being a homeowner. e recently introduced You're Covered (page 57) also speaks to our insurance services, including personal accident, health and dental, and life insurance. We've also added an A sk the Experts column (page 52), which answers members' questions related to travel, automotive and insurance – areas in which we pride ourselves as being experts. And look to Behind the Wheel (page 49) for timely auto- motive and driving tips. WRITE US: Going Places P.O.
