showings in densely forested areas on the
TL and CD properties.
NICKEL
Westhaven Ventures Inc. reported drill-
ing results from the Ben project, where
nickel-cobalt mineralization appears to
be related to ultramafic rocks.

Taranis Resources Inc. conducted drill-
ing, trenching, sampling and metallur-
gical testing on the Thor property that
focused on expanding exploration out-
side of the existing
NI 43-101 resource.
Early in the year, Huakan Inter-
national Mining Inc. released results
of metallurgical test work at the J&L
property on samples from the Main
and Yellowjacket zones. The company
has completed a preliminary economic
assessment on the Main zone, and is
moving toward pre-feasibility.
