Kits Pool, a heated saltwater swimming pool, is a popular attraction, as is shopping and dining on Fourth avenue and Broadway. South Granville Sophistication emanates from the spas, art galleries, interior design stores, antique shops and theatres that populate this vibrant arts and culture area, which is easily explored on foot. Chinatown thanks to canada's largest chinese population, vancouver's chinatown is a vibrant and authentic reflection of chinese culture, food and festivities. Don't miss the chinatown night market, a summertime bazaar that comes alive with people, lights and scents every Friday through Sunday night, 6 p.m. to 11 p.m., may through September. Main Street wander main Street between 10th and 33rd avenues to find an endless supply of coffeehouses, hipster hangouts and funky boutiques, including a number of antique dealers. Further south, around 49th avenue, is the colourful and lively Punjabi market – shop for silky fabrics, glittering jewelry and tasty Indo-canadian delicacies.
