84-inches high to match the professional grade styles. The interior is available in stainless steel or white for residential installation. Coast Wholesale Appliances Inc. is finding sales success with the Jenn-Air 24-inch Steam and Convection Wall Oven, a perfect solution for the new age of downsized living. "This versatile wall oven uses steam to preserve nutrients in veg- etables and tenderness in meats, and convection for evenly- baked pastries and roasts," says Scott Wong, marketing man- ager. "The steam and convection are used together for food that's tender inside and roasted or crisped outside." The 4.8-inch glass-touch controls with LCD offers nine cooking modules, including sous-vide reheat, steam defrost, and steam cleaning and yogurt mode. The Euro-Style stain- less steel interior matches the exterior to create a upscale addition to the kitchen. "This oven offers a wide variety of choices including manual cooking mode and a no-preheat option," says Wong. "The 1.3-cubic-feet capacity with a bak- ing/drip tray gives space for a variety of foods." The energy- saving eco mode, a halogen oven light and an oven calibration function add to the many benefits for consumers who choose this modern Jenn-Air option to satisfy the inner foodie. Integrated Appliances Ltd. introduces two new appliances for 2014. "The new Culinarian Series 30-inch range from Cap- ital has a powerful 23,000 BTU open-top burner range that brings professional-grade cooking to the home," says Alex Brown, CEO. "It can also be turned down to a 'True Simmer' of 145 degrees." A BBQ-grill option features hybrid radiants with ceramic rods, encased in stainless steel sheet metal for reduced flares. For an added touch of sophistication, there is the option of luxurious cabernet red knobs. A second product foodies will love is the Signature Series Dual-Zone wine reserve from Perlick. "This product is great for those who want to keep different wines at their respective optimum temperatures," says Brown. "The reserve tempera- tures can be set anywhere from 40 to 68 degrees Fahrenheit. There are six-and-a-half wine shelves with full extension pull- outs that will store up to 46 wine bottles." The reserve doors come in a range of styles to suit any kitchen décor. Options include solid stainless-steel door, solid wood-overlay door, glass and stainless-steel door, or glass and wood-overlay door. Urban retailing is key for Edmonds Fine Appliances as the company celebrates its 40th anniversary. With a move to a new location in Vancouver's False Creek, the company is taking its showroom to a new level with design, the science of product selection and exceptional customer service. "We believe the new Edmonds showroom is the first-of-its-kind in North America's appliance industry – a very different vision of the future of premium-brand appliance retailing," says Glenn Anderson, president. He says that a study done by Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation ( CMHC) in 2010 that compared Canadian new urbanist developments (NUDs) and conven- tional suburban developments (CSDs) revealed considerable differences in lifestyle and spending behaviour between the two groups. "Selecting kitchen appliances is usually not a sci- entific process," says Anderson. "But, for the new Edmonds showroom, a long-standing retail truism needed to be recognized: 85 per cent of retail sales come from 15 per cent of the items displayed." Anderson adds that 95 per cent of Edmonds' clients are repeat customers or direct referrals. He credits the company's customer service approach for its success. Edmonds' staff is trained at supplier factories all over the world, which is especially important for long-term, prestigious developer clients." ■ Euroline Appliances 18-inch Lifestyle Tower.
