The beauty of that is you can come in to select your linens, select your colours. We also have a florist in house, which our brides are welcome to work with, or if they prefer, they can source their own décor/vendors themselves. We recommend they meet with certain vendors (i.e., photographers and makeup artists) themselves, as these are services that require a personal connection. However, we can do some of the footwork and present couples with a list of those vendors who are available on their wedding day, and fall within their price range." The physical space of a venue is critical to setting the tone for the day and the Marriott Pinnacle and Renaissance Harbourside offer several options for ceremony and reception space. "The Marriott and Renaissance are actually two properties across the street from each other," Singh explains. "The Marriott can accommodate events from 30 to 450, while the Renaissance can accommodate up to 40 to 600." The third-floor Point Grey Room at the Marriott adjoins the beautiful Garden rooftop patio, perfect for outdoor ceremonies. The Renaissance Harbourside has two gorgeous ballrooms (one is brand new!) and the location itself is perfect as the views from the hotel overlook Stanley Park, the mountains, and the water.
