"One of the keys to contemporary design is simplicity," says Garry Scott, VP, wholesale marketing and brand development. "When developing products for the modern homeowner, we keep that topof-mind to ensure our styles are fresh and fit consumers' lifestyles." Today's updated contemporary look is a blend of relaxed, liveable elements that create a sophisticated feel, while balancing the combination of form and function. "With a number of new products available, you can enhance the clean, uncluttered decor in your home with the right kitchen and bathroom faucet," says Scott. Moen continues to bring stylish designs to the market with recent additions to its portfolio such as the Arris bath suite. "Faucet options within the Arris collection include a singlehandle, single-hole mount faucet, as well as a two-handle widespread and wall-mount platform," says Scott. Robinson Lighting & Bath offers a wide range of fixtures for the home, including Sensate from Kohler. "Digital technology has come to many parts of today's living, including faucets," says Matt Robinson, manager, business development. "The Sensate faucet offers hands-free operation with the simple wave of the hand, or an object such as a pan or utensil, through a sensor loop." Also available through Robinson Lighting & Bath is the Grohe Blue Pure faucet with water filtration that creates fresh-tasting water from the tap. Finished in Grohe StarLight chrome, the faucet has two separate internal waterways for filtered water and unfiltered water. The filter cartridge can purify up to 600 litres of water and can be replaced in just a few steps. Ambient Bathroom Furniture has a number of unique faucet choices that blend well into today's consumer choice of modern esthetics and elegance. "The Faucets products we carry are created by internationally recognized designers and manufacturers," says Julia Ilnitchi, sales manager. "The Newform Italy Morpho collection by Massimilliano Della Monaca has been very popular." The Morpho faucet features a ceiling spout for the washbasin with a cascade of lines that float in a sinuous dynamic process. The ceiling-mounted sink spout can also be matched to an array of wall-mounted or  single-lever sink mixers. Ilnitchi also carries Savoy by Zucchetti – a complete new range of taps that expresses contemporary classic style, designed by Matteo Thun. Characterised by simple pure primary shapes, Savoy features versatility and customization possibilities including many different finishes and decorative solutions for handles and covers. Also from Zucchetti is the Jingle line of taps that feature geometric lines softened by rounded shapes and flat reflective surfaces. The Rubinet Faucet Company has broken new ground with its latest product, the hand-held bidet. Unlike the typical faucets and water stream of conventional bidets, this unit is 26-inches long and streamlined. "The end of this faucet has a dual function – one has a soft beam of water that can be aimed in specific directions and the other option is a regular shower. Marilyn Dennis profiled it on her television show and that created a positive reaction and many calls to our office," says Domenic Luisi, president. The wall-mount version of this faucet also has a dual function and can be mounted in the shower, either on the wall or deck, with the water aimed at specific areas of the body. "I am the designer of all Rubinet products, and finishes are very important in our selections," says Luisi. "We offer metal faucets with colour accents, or colour faucets with metal accents. We can also create custom colours and can even match faucets to stove handles." ■ Northwest Landscape & Stone.indd 1 p36-39Faucets.indd 39 october 2013    /39 13-08-29 11:42 AM 13-09-13 3:41 PM
