"It has been a great success and has given the campus much of its unique character." Broadway Tech Centre has won numerous awards for its sustainable design. In 2009, it netted the Green Roofs for Healthy Cities Green Roof Award for Excellence. Most recently, it received the Building Owners and Managers Association of Canada's Go Green Award for industry-approved environmental best practices in building management. BOMA awards the honour based on resource consumption, waste reduction and recycling, building materials use, interior environment and tenant awareness. It has been recognized by the Urban Development Institute for excellence in Urban Development/Of ice Development and received the 2002 National Association of Industrial and Of ice Properties (NAIOP) Comprehensive Development Award. 2910 Virtual Way just won the 2012 NAIOP Commercial Real Estate Award of Excellence for Of ice Development.
