"They hired me because they knew my work and trusted me, but they also knew what they wanted and were able to articulate it." Right: Erin designed the cake – elegant black and white damask with peach—to go with the stationery used throughout. Terminal City Club did a fabulous job executing the design. Below: Erin's vision was to create a romantic, warm and inviting space. Charger plates were a silver glass that reflected gold in some light, brought in to complement the clear Chivari chairs and candlelit atmosphere. Left: Erin had only tried on a few dresses, but when she put on this backless style from local designer Barbara Allen she knew it was the one. The Swarovski crystal and pearl cuff bracelet, earrings and hairpieces from Jeweliette had an antique yet modern look Erin loved. Above: Stationery created by Raquel at InspirAsian Creations. Facing page: The vision was to keep the room simple and romantic, with white draping and natural lighting. The flowers were full round arrangements with ivory hydrangeas, white and peach peonies, and roses in ivory, cream, blushes and shades of peach. 52 RW21_part 1.indd 52 r ea l weddings 9/19/11 3:24:17 PM
