contents Dear Team Power Smart member, F all is a time for change. as the leaves change, the weather cools and the clocks turn back an hour, it could be the perfect time to think about changing your habits to help reduce electricity and lead the way to a better B.C. as Mahatma Gandhi once said, "Be the change you want to see in the world." In this issue of Team Power Smart magazine, we speak to members who have done exactly that. In Everyday Inspiration (page 7), three members tell us what inspired them to take part in a challenge (or two), they offer tips on what worked and what didn't in their journey to conserve electricity and they bust some of those electricity saving myths along the way. Our main story (page 8) features larry Paris, the previous winner of the Team Power Smart member photo contest. larry is the epitome of the true B.C. outdoorsman. His appreciation for nature and the environment are captured in his powerful outdoor images and indoors in his devotion to taking the necessary steps to reduce his footprint by cutting electricity use. as always, our Up front section (page 4) provides you with an overview of what you can expect over the next few months, from events and inspiring documentaries to our brand-new photo contest.
