For her big day, the bride dressed her hair in a loose romantic up-do and added a
simple flowing veil. Tamara found her strapless Vera Wang gown with layers of
French tulle at Blush Bridal. "It felt very light and graceful," she says.

The bridesmaids wore J. Crew's Aveline dress in a soft fawn shade and held
bouquets of yellow roses, white and green hydrangeas, ivory tulips and fresh
wildflowers, arranged by Bliss Event Planning.

For their late-summer wedding, the couple chose a colour scheme of soft vintage
yellow, ivory and green. Tamara tucked wildflowers into the dinner napkins
to highlight the rustic elegance of the reception at Pemberton's Green Water
Resort. The menu reflected an aboriginal-fusion theme, including assorted
dishes using scallops, venison, bison and salmon.

In planning the tent for the outdoor evening reception, explains Tamara, "We
wanted the flowers to be abundant, the food to really stand out, lots of small
vintage elements like the hand-chosen vintage bottles, the canvas linens and a
ton of candles to create a soft glow. We also wanted the beauty of the surrounding river to stand out, so we left the tent open while our guests enjoyed dinner."

The couple loved their coconut wedding cake by Pemberton's Blackbird Bakery,
but also provided guests with more sweet options at a dessert table featuring
fruit tarts and a candy buffet.
