A m e l Community BCAA Road Safety Foundation Update BCAA has a long history of driving positive change in B.C. communities, including protecting thousands of children each year through the support of the School Safety Patrol program (see page 38) and Child Passenger Safety workshops — just two of the innovative road safety initiatives delivered by the BCAA Road Safety Foundation (RSF) since its inception in 1999. BCAA plans to increase its support for road safety. As of October 1, 2013, the RSF will wind down its activities and BCAA will assume operation of various programs previously conducted by the RSF. This will enable BCAA to do even more in creating safer B.C. roads. A portion of your Membership dues are allocated to fund road safety initiatives.
