Reid School (pictured) took home first place for its exceptional skills in communication, hand signals and discipline. It was closely followed by second place Riverview School, and third place St. Augustine School. The Brandon Police Service and CAA Manitoba teamed up for the event, which culminated with CAA president and CEO Mike Mager and Police Chief Ian Grant presenting the awards at surprise assemblies at each winning school. Hear This Our sincerest congratulations go out to the national winner of CAA's Connect Hearing "Stay Connected to the Sounds of Your Life Contest." The winning entry from Bruno Con Sonego (pictured) of Red Lake, Ontario, landed him a pair of hearing aids valued at up to $5,000 and enrolment in Connect Hearing's Soundcare Assurance program. "I like the fact that I am going to hear people talking again," says Con Sonego. We like the fact that CAA's prize will help him that much. p56-59_YourGuide.indd 57 Shop Till You Globetrot With online retail partners such as Walmart, iTunes and Dell on CAA Manitoba's Rewards portal, your online purchases can build up a serious bank of CAA dollars.
