C A J U N E 2 0 2 5 CONTRIBUTORS For this issue's Women of the Year awards, Sandrine Jacquot dove in deep in her debut writing for BCBusiness, with profiles of six winners (p.24) in the Equity & Inclusion Champions and Rising Stars categories. The experience was "inspiring" and impactful, she says. "I'm grateful they trusted me with their stories. I love connecting with those who are all part of shaping B.C., whether it's a small business or big movers and shakers." Kyrani Kanavaros loves the creative freedom that comes with editorial photography. Though she captured several portraits for last year's Women of the Year awards, she returned this year to capture 18 of our 21 winners in her Vancouver studio (p. 24). "I love how the minimal vibe eliminates any other distractions to focus solely on the women themselves," she says about the portraiture for this issue. "I equally loved meeting and photographing these accomplished women." ON THE COVER I thought this was a fresh way to feature our incredible Women of the Year.
